Heather Slutzkin moved to Euroa in 1979, and has now lived in Seymour for twenty-three years. An avid reader and hopeful writer, she found poetry was her metier during the last decade. She writes about life's joys and it's challenges. Heather won the Poetry Award in the inaugural Bayside Literary Festival in 2008 and has been published in diverse journals including 'The Bird Observer', Tamba (Goulburn Valley Writer's Group), the Age newspaper, and 'Blue Dog' (Journal of the Australian Poetry Centre).
