3D Design
La Habra High School is a destination school in the district for 3D Design, a class where students explore ideas and techniques of visual expression through a variety of three-dimensional media. Students are challenged to think creatively and problem-solve as they design and build original artworks. Students will develop skills in ceramics, sculpture, paper-mâché, weaving, sewing, and more. Intermediate-level students build on previous skills, while also exploring new media such as woodworking and fiber arts. Advanced (AP) level students select their own topic to guide the development of a portfolio of artworks that is submitted to the AP for grading. Students at all levels are provided the opportunity to display their artworks at the end of each semester in a gallery showcase.
